Proposal of measures on Svratka river in the cadastral area of Svratka
Černý, David ; Vysloužilová, Lucie (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of the current state of the Svratka watercourse and of the capacity of the existing objects on the course, which is partially modified in the solved locality and includes both – intravarian and extravarian areas of the town. Within hydrotechnical calculations, the 1D mathematical model HEC-RAS version 5.0.6 was used to determine the course of levels. The thesis focuses also on suitable design of flood protection measures on the river Svratka with protection for design flow Qn = Q20 = 28,6 m3 / s.
Flood control measures in the Salašský potok basin
Stolářová, Alena ; Doležal, Petr (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the addition of flood protection measures in the Salašský potok basin. Working closely related to the previous bachelor thesis on Flood protection in the Salašský potok basin. Detail deal with left tributary Salašky - Modranský potok -which runs through the town Modrá, to be occupied by 6 small cascade of water reservoirs. The work is divided into two parts. The first part describes the actual parameters of the tanks and their assessment of the possible spill-over and is solved their overall transformational effect in the basin. In the second part of the thesis dealt with the tank as a semi tank in response to N-leté water and searched their design parameters.
Comparison of proposed measures in Brantice–Kostelec section of river Opava
Korálová, Nikola ; Švancara, Jiří (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with comparison of flow influenced by proposed measures with current status in Brantice-Kostelec section of the river Opava. The results of two-dimensional numerical model of steady uniform flow were used to assess the flow. The models were created using SMS – FESWMS for both of conditions. Thesis contains description of current status, design status, the theory of numerical modelling, comparison of the flow and evaluation of results.
Flood control measures in the Březnice Catchment
Zárubová, Kamila ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the flood control measures in the basin Březnice. This mainly concerns the assessment of flow rates. The work is divided into two parts: A description basin and data processing in programs ArcGIS and Hydrog. Description of the basin is the description of geographic factors, personal acquaintance with the river, and residents of surrounding villages bordering the stream. Subsequently the river will be process and scheme in program ArcGIS - the catchment area will be divided into partial hanging areas with which it will be worked next. The outputs obtained in this step are used for data processing in the Hydrog program. The intensity of rainfall and the N-year flows will be also calculated . In the end flow rates obtained from the program Hydrog will be compared with the real flow.
Risk flood analysis
Krupinec, Jakub ; Dráb,, Aleš (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis "Risk flood analysis" is the processing risk flood analysis on the selected location Thaya flow. Flood Hazard Maps, Flood Danger Maps and Flood Risk Maps for the flow of Q5, Q20 and Q100 are constructed based on available data in accordance with Directive 2007/60/EC. The work was processed in the GIS.

Water management study on Smědá river
Vysušil, Miroslav ; Roub, Radek (advisor) ; Marie, Marie (referee)
The fundamentals of flood danger formulation is defining space classification of flood characteristics, e.g. overflow borders and water depths in flood plains and subsequent analysis of these data in the form of so called maps of flood danger. The diploma thesis deals with characteristics of a selected part of Smědá river and with simulation of flood flows in order to create a map of flood risks which could be used as a possible design of flood precautions and protection of urban areas. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part explains the terms of flood, types of floods, objects on the flow, degrees of flood activity, management of protection against floods in the Czech Republic, types of flood precautions, outline of models of flows in open watercourses and metodology of preparation of flood maps. The second part concerns the mentioned river. After a brief introduction of the river, the paper gives a detailed description of water management buildings and respective simulation of flood flows and flood lines in the area concerned.
